Church announcements

Church announcement screens your volunteers can update

Show this week's events, serving opportunities and giving information on the screens in your foyer. Volunteers describe a slide, the AI designs it, and the schedule shifts automatically between Sunday and midweek.

First 3 screens free. No credit card.

01

Simple enough for volunteers

Describe an announcement in a sentence and pick one of three designs. No design software or training needed.

02

Sunday and midweek loops

Schedule a Sunday morning loop and a midweek loop once, and they repeat every week on their own.

03

Events that expire on time

Give each event slide an end date so last week's potluck never lingers on screen.

04

Three screens free

The first three screens are always free, which covers many church foyers and fellowship halls.

Announcements without a designer

Many churches rely on volunteers for their screens. With DigitalSign, a volunteer types "youth group fall retreat, October 18 to 20, sign up at the welcome desk" and the AI Designer returns three slides to choose from. Ask for "warmer colors" or "add a QR code to the sign-up page", or adjust anything in the editor. Save favorites as templates so every slide looks consistent week to week.

  • Three designs from one sentence
  • QR codes for sign-ups and giving pages
  • Templates for recurring ministries
  • Upload photos from events to the library

A schedule that follows the week

Set a Sunday morning loop with service times, welcome information and this week's events. Add a midweek loop for small groups and youth nights, and a quiet loop for other hours. Recurrence repeats it every week. Give seasonal content like Advent or Easter a date range, and use a temporary override for a same-day change such as a weather cancellation.

  • Weekly recurrence for Sunday and midweek
  • Date ranges for seasons and series
  • Temporary overrides for same-day changes
  • Playlist items with start and end dates

Video, images and web pages

Playlists can mix designed slides with uploaded photos and short videos from your content library. A scene can also show a webpage or iframe today, so an existing online events page can play in the loop. A Google Calendar widget and countdown timers for the start of service are planned, and will drop into any design once available. Until then, a scheduled slide does the job.

  • Images, video and designed slides in one loop
  • Webpage scenes for an online events page
  • Countdown and calendar widgets planned
  • Transitions and per-item durations

Easy to run on a small budget

Most foyer TVs can run the player directly in their web browser, or you can plug in an Android or Google TV device. Pair the screen by entering the code it shows in your dashboard. Content is stored on the device, so a weak church Wi-Fi signal will not interrupt the loop. The first three screens are always free, on every plan.

  • Use the TV you already have
  • Pair with an on-screen code
  • Offline cache for weak Wi-Fi
  • First three screens always free

How it works

Live on screen in three steps

  1. 1

    Describe this week's events

Have a volunteer ask the AI Designer for each slide.

  2. 2

    Set the weekly loops

Schedule Sunday and midweek playlists once and let them repeat.

  3. 3

    Pair the foyer TV

Open the player on the TV and enter its pairing code.

FAQ

Church screens: common questions

Is DigitalSign free for churches?

The first three screens are free for every organization, including churches. Additional screens start at $3 per screen per month.

Can volunteers use it without training?

Yes. Volunteers describe a slide in plain language and choose from three designs. The editor is available for small adjustments.

Can announcements change between Sunday and midweek?

Yes. Assign a playlist to each part of the week on the scheduler and it repeats automatically.

Can we use the TV we already have in the foyer?

Usually, yes. A TV with a modern web browser can run the player, or you can connect an Android or Google TV device.

Is this for worship lyrics or presentation software?

No. DigitalSign is for announcement and information screens in foyers and halls, not for lyrics or live presentation in the sanctuary.

Can we show a countdown before service starts?

A countdown widget is planned. Today you can schedule a "service starts at 10:00" slide to play in the minutes before service.
