Government digital signage
Government digital signage for public buildings and notices
Post meeting agendas, office hours, public notices, and service updates in city halls, courthouses, libraries, and licensing offices. During weather closures or emergencies, one message can take over every screen across your facilities.
First 3 screens free. No credit card.
Notices that post and expire
Give every public notice a date range so it comes down after the meeting or deadline.
One message, every building
Emergency priority overrides scheduled content across all facilities until you clear it.
Departments, one system
Parks, libraries, and the clerk’s office each run their own screens under one account.
Readable from across the room
Ask for larger text or higher contrast and the AI Designer adjusts the layout.
Public information people can read at a glance
Lobby screens answer the questions front counters hear all day: hours, where to go, what to bring, and what is happening this week. Post council and board agendas ahead of each meeting, then let date ranges take them down afterward. Ask the AI Designer for “public hearing notice, Nov 12, 6 PM, council chambers, large text” and edit the details before publishing. Bilingual versions take one more request.
- Agendas and notices with date ranges
- Office hours and service information
- Bilingual versions from a follow-up request
- Large-text, high-contrast layouts

Emergency and closure messages
Snow closures, boil-water notices, and building evacuations need to reach every screen now. Publish a message at Emergency priority to one facility or all of them, and it overrides every other schedule until it ends. Players keep a verified local cache, so content already delivered keeps showing during network trouble. Triggering alerts from an existing notification system through the API is planned.
- Emergency priority overrides everything
- Target one facility or every building
- Temporary overrides that expire on their own
- API and webhook triggers planned
Departments share one system
Each department can run its own screens while the city or county keeps one account. Organization-wide content, such as election reminders or hiring notices, inherits down to every building, and each department adds its own on top. IT sees every screen’s status and can refresh or restart remotely. Location-scoped roles and approval chains are planned, and Enterprise plans cover SSO.
- Organization, department, and building inheritance
- Remote status and restarts for IT
- Roles and approvals planned
- SSO on Enterprise plans

How it works
Live on screen in three steps
- 1
Add your facilities
Create a location for each building and group screens by department.
- 2
Publish standing information
Set up hours, services, and directions loops for each lobby.
- 3
Prepare emergency messages
Save closure and evacuation notices ahead of time so they go out in seconds.
FAQ
Government: common questions
Is DigitalSign certified for accessibility standards?
We do not claim accessibility certification. You control text size, contrast, and timing, and the AI Designer can enlarge text or raise contrast on request.
Can we host it on our own servers?
Not today. DigitalSign is a cloud service with players that cache content locally on each screen.
Can each department manage its own screens?
Yes, through locations and screen groups with their own schedules. Location-scoped roles and approval steps are planned.
How do we buy for a city or county?
Standard plans are $3 per screen per month after three free screens. Organizations with 50 or more screens can contact us about Enterprise terms.
Can screens show a livestream of public meetings?
If the stream has a web page, you can show it as a playlist item. YouTube and Vimeo widgets are planned.
