Healthcare digital signage for waiting rooms and clinics
Replace cable TV in the waiting room with clinic hours, wellness tips, and service information you control. Staff screens carry shift notes and reminders, and urgent facility notices can override every screen at once.
First 3 screens free. No credit card.
A waiting room you program
Show hours, services, seasonal health reminders, and calm visuals instead of whatever is on cable.
Notices that take priority
An Emergency priority message overrides every scheduled loop until you clear it.
Different screens, different jobs
Patient areas, hallways, and staff rooms each get their own playlists and schedules.
Steady through network trouble
Screens keep playing from a verified local cache if the facility network goes down.
A waiting room channel you control
Patients look at the waiting room screen while they wait, so give it something useful. Rotate clinic hours, new services, flu shot reminders, patient portal sign-up steps, and calming nature footage. Ask the AI Designer for “a flu season reminder, soft blues, large text” and pick from three versions. Schedule morning and afternoon loops, and keep patient-specific information off the screen; the system is built for general messaging, not records.
- Rotating education, hours, and service content
- Large, high-contrast text from a simple request
- Morning, afternoon, and after-hours loops
- Videos, images, and web pages in one playlist
Wayfinding and department information
Lobby and hallway screens help visitors find imaging, labs, the pharmacy, and parking without stopping at the front desk. Build a directory screen once, then update it when a department moves or hours change. Each screen gets content for its spot in the building, and a temporary override can redirect people during construction or a closed entrance. Live wait times from a scheduling system are planned through REST and JSON data connections.
- Directory and floor screens per location
- Temporary overrides for closures and reroutes
- Portrait and landscape layouts
- Live wait-time feeds planned

Staff communication behind the scenes
Break rooms and nurse stations need different content than patient areas: shift reminders, training dates, recognition, and policy updates. Put those screens in their own group with their own schedule so internal messages never land in the waiting room. Multi-site systems can share network-wide content and let each facility add local notes. Built-in approval chains and location-scoped roles, which many clinical teams want, are planned.
- Separate screen groups for staff-only areas
- Network-wide content with local additions
- Remote status, screenshots, and restarts
- Approvals and role permissions planned

How it works
Live on screen in three steps
- 1
Map your screens
Add each facility as a location and group screens into patient, wayfinding, and staff areas.
- 2
Build your loops
Use templates or the AI Designer to create waiting room, directory, and staff content.
- 3
Schedule and monitor
Set loops by time of day and watch every screen’s status from one dashboard.
FAQ
Healthcare: common questions
Is DigitalSign HIPAA compliant?
We do not claim HIPAA compliance. DigitalSign is built for general messaging like hours, education, and directions, and screens should not display protected health information.
Can we show live patient wait times?
Not yet. Live data from REST, JSON, and CSV sources is planned. Today you can show a web page your systems already publish, as long as it contains no patient information.
How do we post an urgent facility notice?
Publish a message at Emergency priority to the screens or locations you choose. It overrides every other schedule until you end it.
Can staff-only content stay out of patient areas?
Yes. Put staff screens in their own group and target internal schedules only at that group.
Does it support approval before content goes live?
Built-in approval chains are planned. Until then, preview designs in the dashboard and keep publishing access with the people responsible for review.
