Reliable playback
Offline playback that keeps your screens on when Wi-Fi fails
Every player downloads its content, checks each file, and plays from a local cache. If the connection drops or our servers are unreachable, your screens keep running the last synced schedule instead of going black.
First 3 screens free. No credit card.
Local cache on every player
Content is stored on the device and played locally, not streamed live.
Checksummed downloads
Each file is validated before it is used, so a broken download never reaches the screen.
Schedules keep running
Dayparts still switch on time offline because the schedule is cached with the content.
Automatic catch-up
When the connection returns, the player syncs any changes and reports back.
Built to play from the device
Offline support is part of how the player works, not a setting. The player fetches a manifest of what it should show, downloads each asset, validates its checksum, stores it locally and confirms the sync. Only then does it play, and it plays from the local copy. If the internet goes down or our servers disappear, the screen keeps running what it already has.
- Fetch manifest, download, validate, store, play
- Checksum validation on every asset
- Plays from local storage, not a live stream
No surprise black screens
A half-downloaded video or a dropped connection mid-sync should never leave a screen blank. Because the player only switches to new content after it is fully downloaded and verified, the previous content stays on screen until the new set is ready. Cached schedules mean breakfast still turns into lunch at the right time, even when the router in the back office is off.
- Old content stays up until new content is verified
- Cached schedules switch dayparts offline
- Sync confirmed back to the dashboard

Visible from the dashboard
Each screen reports its last heartbeat and last sync, so you can see which displays are offline and whether they have the latest content. When a screen reconnects it pulls any changes automatically. Offline caching is included in Standard at $3 per screen per month, alongside remote management and screen groups. On every plan, the dashboard shows when a screen drops offline so you can follow up.
- Last heartbeat and last sync per screen
- Automatic sync on reconnect
- Offline caching included on Standard and above

How it works
Live on screen in three steps
- 1
Sync
The player downloads every asset in its schedule and verifies each checksum.
- 2
Play locally
Content plays from the device cache, not over the network.
- 3
Catch up
When the connection returns, the player pulls changes and confirms the sync.
FAQ
Offline playback: common questions
What happens if my internet goes down?
Screens keep playing the content and schedule they last synced. Nothing goes black.
Will dayparts still change while offline?
Yes. The schedule is cached with the content, so blocks like Breakfast and Lunch still switch on time.
How do I know a screen has the latest content?
The dashboard shows each screen's last sync and last heartbeat.
What if a file is corrupted during download?
Every asset is checked against its checksum before use. A file that fails is downloaded again and never shown broken.
Which plan includes offline caching?
Offline caching is part of the Standard plan at $3 per screen per month and above.
