First 3 screens free. No credit card.

01

Welcome screens in minutes

Describe the message and the look, and the AI Designer gives you three on-brand variations to choose from.

02

Right message at the right hour

Show a morning welcome, a lunchtime update and an evening message on a schedule that repeats on its own.

03

Visitor messages on short notice

Add a temporary override such as "Welcome, board members" for the next 2 hours, and it clears itself when time is up.

04

Check the screen from your desk

See what the lobby is showing with a remote screenshot, and refresh or restart the player without leaving your seat.

A welcome screen you can describe

A lobby display is often the first thing a visitor reads. Instead of laying it out from scratch, type what you want: "welcome screen for a law office, navy and white, our logo, today's date". The AI Designer returns three variations as editable scenes. Ask for a portrait version for a tall display beside reception, or a warmer evening version, and it adjusts the existing design rather than starting over.

  • Three on-brand variations per prompt
  • Portrait and landscape from one design
  • Upload logos, photos and video to the library
  • Templates for welcome and announcement screens

Schedule the day, not just the loop

A playlist rotates your welcome message, upcoming events and building notices. The scheduler decides which playlist plays when: a morning loop for arrivals, a midday loop with announcements, and a quiet evening screen after the doors close. Recurrence handles weekdays versus weekends, and date ranges handle a conference week. Temporary overrides cover the VIP visit, and the regular schedule resumes automatically.

  • Playlists with durations, loops and transitions
  • Dayparts with weekday and weekend recurrence
  • Date ranges for events and seasons
  • Overrides that expire on their own

Show web content you already have

Many lobbies need more than a static slide. Today a scene can include a webpage or iframe, so you can show an existing events page, a public dashboard or a news site alongside your welcome message. Built-in widgets such as a clock, weather, countdown, news ticker and Google Calendar are planned and will drop into any design. Until then, a webpage scene covers most of these needs.

  • Webpage and iframe scenes available today
  • Images, video and designed scenes in one playlist
  • Clock, weather and calendar widgets planned
  • QR codes in the editor for visitor sign-in links

Every lobby across every building

Organize screens by location and group them however you work: by building, floor or brand. Corporate content inherits down to each lobby while a local office adds its own visitor messages. The dashboard shows each screen's status, current content and last heartbeat. If a lobby looks wrong, take a screenshot, refresh it, or turn the display off and on remotely.

  • Locations and screen groups
  • Inherited corporate content with local overlays
  • Remote screenshot, refresh and restart
  • Offline cache keeps the lobby playing

FAQ

Lobby displays: common questions

What is a lobby display?

A lobby display is a screen in a reception area that shows welcome messages, announcements and visitor information. With DigitalSign you design it, schedule it and manage it from a browser.

Can I use the TV already in our lobby?

Usually, yes. Any TV with a modern web browser can run the player, or you can plug in an Android or Google TV device.

Can I show a personalized welcome for a visiting group?

Yes. Create the message and add a temporary override for the length of the visit. It clears itself and the regular schedule resumes.

Can the lobby screen show a webpage or our events calendar?

You can add any webpage or iframe to a scene today, including a public events page. A native Google Calendar widget is planned.

Can different offices share one design but show local messages?

Yes. Content set at the corporate level inherits to each location, and each office can overlay its own messages on top.

How much does lobby display software cost?

The first three screens are free, which covers most single lobbies. Additional screens start at $3 per screen per month.
