Describe what each screen needs: "day two agenda, three tracks, times on the left, our event colors" or "Room B, now and next session". Schedule the whole event in advance
Use date ranges and times to lay out the event before doors open. Morning registration screens switch to keynote messaging, then to room-by-room session details, then to the evening reception. Group screens by area, such as registration, main hall and breakout rooms, so each group gets its own schedule. After the event, the venue's regular content returns automatically, with no cleanup needed.

Handle changes on the day
Events change while they run. Edit a session time in the editor and publish it to every screen that uses it, or add a temporary override for the next hour. A takeover campaign can put "keynote starting in the main hall" on every screen at once. Today, schedules are entered in DigitalSign. Pulling sessions from a calendar or spreadsheet is planned through Google Calendar and Google Sheets connections.
