Transit digital signage

Transportation digital signage for stations and terminals

Guide riders through stations, terminals, and depots with wayfinding, service notices, and station information. When service changes, a priority message overrides the regular loop on the screens you choose, then steps aside when it ends.

First 3 screens free. No credit card.

01

Wayfinding you can update

Change directions, gate info, or entrances from the dashboard when the station changes.

02

Service notices first

Priority messages override the regular loop on the stations or screens affected.

03

Every screen accounted for

See which screens are online, what they are playing, and when they last checked in.

04

Built to keep playing

Players run from a verified local cache when a station loses its connection.

Wayfinding that is easy to change

Stations and terminals change more often than printed signs do: a closed entrance, a moved bus bay, a new ticket office. Build wayfinding screens in the editor with clear arrows and large text, then update them from the dashboard instead of reprinting. Give each screen content for its spot in the building, and use a temporary override to reroute riders during construction or a platform closure.

  • Portrait and landscape wayfinding layouts
  • Per-screen content by location in the station
  • Temporary overrides for closures and detours
  • Large, high-contrast text from a simple request

Service notices that take priority

When service is disrupted, riders need to know before they reach the platform. Publish a notice at Promotion or Emergency priority to one station, a line, or the whole system, and it overrides the regular loop until it expires or you clear it. Live departure times are planned through REST and JSON data connections. Today, a published arrivals web page can run as a playlist item.

  • Emergency priority overrides every schedule
  • Target one station, a group, or every screen
  • Notices that expire on their own
  • Live departure feeds planned

Depots and operator communication

Operators and maintenance crews need their own screens: shift reminders, safety topics, route changes, and recognition in the depot break room. Put those screens in their own group with a schedule built around shift starts. Remote status shows the last heartbeat, current content, and a screenshot for every screen, so a dark display at a far-off station gets noticed and restarted without a truck roll.

  • Separate groups for depot and staff screens
  • Shift-based dayparts
  • Remote screenshots, refresh, and restart
  • Status and last check-in per screen

How it works

Live on screen in three steps

  1. 1

    Organize stations and depots

Add each station or depot as a location and group screens by area.

  2. 2

    Build station content

Create wayfinding, information, and staff loops with templates or the AI Designer.

  3. 3

    Prepare service notices

Save common disruption messages so staff can publish them in seconds.

FAQ

Transportation: common questions

Can screens show real-time arrivals?

Native data feeds are planned. Today, if your agency publishes an arrivals web page, you can show it as a playlist item.

Can we target a notice to one line?

Yes. Put that line’s station screens in a group and publish the notice to the group.

Does it work on screens inside vehicles?

DigitalSign is built for fixed screens in stations, terminals, and depots. Onboard vehicle systems are not a supported use today.

How do we know a remote station screen is down?

The dashboard shows each screen’s status and last heartbeat. Offline alerts through webhooks are planned.

Can it connect to our dispatch or CAD system?

Not yet. API and webhook triggers are planned. Today, staff publish notices from the dashboard.
